Haleon’s purpose is to Deliver Better Everyday Health with Humanity. The Haleon Customer Sales Manager (CSM) does this by developing and leading a successful Joint Business Plan (JBP) with CVS Pharmacy for their assigned category. This plan is inspired by the shopper and smartly connects our brands with their needs. In doing so the CSM functions as a general manager ensuring the full capabilities of Haleon are brought forward to deliver growth and brand worth at the customer.


This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

Responsibilities

  • Through JBP build and execute a strategic plan which effectively unites customer and company’s strategic priorities into a competitive advantage for both.
  • Establish collaborative and strategic relationships across both the customer and Haleon. Understand how decisions are made and shape priorities and strategy. Lead internal Haleon commercial planning cycle for assigned category.
  • Lead the innovation process at the customer to include new items and programs
  • Plan and Execute with excellence the trade activation plan inclusive of forecast, promotion, loyalty and personalization, aisle design, display/off-shelf and shopper activation. Aggressively seek to understand the customer, competition and marketplace to ensure plans are current and focused.
  • Analyse and understand the business at depth understanding drivers and projecting future trends based upon data and analytics. Fine tune plans as appropriate
  • Plan and manage all account promotional monies insuring key financial metrics are achieved.
  • Be the voice of the Customer to internal departments. Ensuring the strategic opportunities and unique needs of the customer are deeply understood to enable maximum brand value creation.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's degree required/MBA preferred

  • 5 + years’ experience working directly with large, strategic customers

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Ability virtually or in person present to audiences of all sizes in a compelling manner.
  • Demonstrated success building strategic business relationships and influencing retailers.
  • Analytic acumen, ability to leverage multiple resources to analyse the business and build action plans based upon your interpretation.
  • Demonstrated history of learning and utilizing analytic platforms such as IRI, Nielsen, Numerator, Extracare etc…
  • Demonstrated history of effective team-work
  • Growth mindset, Pro-active, Problem solver, Intellectual curiosity
